BonaFides Media is based in Waterloo, Belgium. The company is run by its founder and owner, Irina Dumitrescu.
Irina Dumitrescu is a communication expert with more than 20 years of international experience in journalism, corporate communications and stakeholder dialogue in chemical, mining and metal industries.
With a background in journalism, Irina gained first-hand experience of the advent of a free press in Bucharest in the nineteen nineties. Irina later embraced the corporate communications scene and moved to Brussels in 2000.
In Brussels, she joined the public affairs arena where she gained experience with two of the biggest trade associations, the European Chemical Council (CEFIC) – representing the chemical industry, and the European Copper Institute (ECI), representing the copper industry in Europe.
Irina is a motivated networker experienced in building trust through genuine reasoning and transparent communication. After completing a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program with UNITAR and an MBA in Communications & Leadership with Quadriga University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, she set-up BonaFides Media.
